Former
L.I. Mariners Player Signs
Free
Agent Contract with Phillies Organization
Long
Island, NY – Former
Long Island Mariners player, Kevin
Salmon signed a free agent contract
with the Philadelphia Phillies
organization during this past year. Kevin
played with the Long Island Mariners
Organization in 2002 under the guidance of
coach Randy Caden. Kevin was a tremendous
all around athlete. However, it was on the
mound that Kevin elevated his game. He
threw a no-hitter that summer and pitched
well in all tournaments played. The
Mariners organization wishes him well
during his pro career. He finished this
season pitching for the Phillies Minor
League affiliate in Batavia, NY.
